This is a simple shawlette available in two different versions. The striping reminded me of the grooves formed by glaciers on Kelly's Island in Ohio, a fantastic place that we used to go to as kids for family vacations. The most fun part about this pattern may just be picking the perfect two colors of a gorgeous hand-dyed sock yarn.

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows in stockinette (gauge isn't super critical, as this is a shawl)
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle (24" or longer) OR size needed to get YOU the gauge YOU want for this shawl.
Yarn: Approximately 325 yards Color A. Approximately 275 yards Color B. Samples shown in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock yarn in Chocolatier (Color A) and Terrywinkle (Color B) and in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock yarn in Sassafrass (Color A) and Nickel (Color B).
Finished measurements: 75" wide, 15" deep at middle.
Notions: stitch markers, darning needle.
Skill level: Advanced beginner.
