Bluegirl knits is a knitwear design company providing patterns for a variety of skill sets. It was started in 2008 by Oregonian Nichole Reese, who began knitting at the age of 8 and just kept knitting.

Nichole's background in accounting and her love of math and numbers has spurred her on to creating new techniques and ways to maximize the use of yarns in her patterns.

Nichole is a published designer and her designs can be seen in a variety of magazines and books. In 2010, she became a Professional Member of the Association of Knitwear Designers.

Why bluegirl knits? Because Nichole loves blue!
